With an ecumenical Christian staff and leadership, we join hands around a common cause in educating the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. Our students and families are from all walks of life who wholeheartedly embrace our emphatically Christ-centered lens in every classroom, subject, activity, and engagement.
The Trivium (“three roads” or “three ways”) is an ancient and time-tested approach for intentionally forming students according to their frames. Grammar (k-5), Logic (6th-8th), and Rhetoric (9th-12th) schools build students respectively on these roads in the educational journey of virtue for the sake of Truth.
It’s clear to us that a strong foundation in academics takes repetition and consistency. Good instruction is also active and interesting while holding scholars to high standards. Axiom has chosen to capitalize on when the mental sharpness is at its peak, which is at the first of the day. We have all our academics instructed and exercised for the first half of each day. When the mind has worked hard, it can continue to work at ‘rest’ (or at ‘leisure’, as the ancients called it) while the body finds its most productive exertion in the afternoon. Our students can continue to think deeply about Hamlet or the pythagorean theorem while running, cooking, kicking, or conditioning. The mind and body working together - not against each other - ultimately provide soul nourishment and that rewarding (and earned) rest.

OUR STORY
After more than a decade of working together as colleagues, three people felt a calling and a passion for a higher level of excellence in classical education. With gifted expertise, wisdom and over 30+ combined years of experience in this specialized academic field, they fanned these gifts, as Paul advised Timothy, into the flame of Axiom School, Albuquerque's new classical Christian academy. Serving student grade levels from Kindergarten to twelfth grade, five days a week we are committed to Forming the Virtuous Scholar.

My granddaughters have attended Axiom Christian Classical School since it was founded.
